Shoeshiners...

Now the first issue is up running and out and about the blog is going to have some features itself and hopefully soon will have some guest appearances, blogwise...Anyway...

While out on my travels today I went and checked out Parisian C215's solo show at Signal Gallery on Curtain Road. As a rule I'm not a massive fan of stencil based street artists and I find some are a tad overrated, C215 is not one of these by a long shot...

His work has been popping up all around London for a few years now, most notably at Banksy's Leake Street street exhibition and this new exhibition is really something.

The show features works on reclaimed materials, card and even puzzles... The gallery has some nice wall pieces installed too, since that is his main canvas...

And some nice shoeshining boxes...

It actually started on the 19th June and is on till the 11th July and it's definitely work checking out so get yourself down there before it's finished, also make sure to check out Signal Gallery as they have some more exciting shows in 2009, the next being Brazilian Jaybo, check him out here and check out more of C215's work here.
